Holly Morgan

The word "Love" took a a whole new meaning to me when I found this designer Holly Morgan. This incredible dress would make the perfect Bridesmaid dress to compliment the vintage and romantic style of any bride. I think the color, texture and design are all phenomenal. This dress is beyond amazing, but it would compliment the Bride so well and complete the overall look of the wedding.

BM Inspiration

I came across this Rachel Gilbert collection recently and fell in love with it! The top pic is my all time favorite and would be my Bridesmaid dress of choice if not for the price tag. I love her use of sequins, color, and the silhouette she accentuates with her dresses. Just too cute.

Now as for the price tag, it is a bit higher than I would care to spend ($700 higher!) but I guess when your designs are seen on the likes of celebrities, you have the right to charge that much. So on I go in my search for the perfect BM dress. I will say however that this is gorgeous inspiration and something I completely plan on thinking with in my future searches! Do you have any celebrity designers you are using for inspiration for your wedding wardrobe!

Rosebud Lips

Fabric flowers are quite in vogue in the wedding fashion industry. But, once in a while you come across the person who takes a trend to an entirely different level! When I saw her latest creations my already extreme love for Rosebud Lips doubled (or quad-tripled!) Introducing her newest wedding collection "Old, New, Borrowed, Blue Collection". It is perfectly titled that because, "The lace is borrowed from a dress, the silk is blue, the antique brooch is old, and the silk is brand new. Four in one."

And what innovative idea is part of that collection??? The Rosebud Lips version of a guarder belt! This is by far the best one I have ever seen :)

And to match?? Just add this darling bouquet!

The Rosebud Lips wedding collection is available now on the Bridal Boutique!

Also, take a look at her Bio, she really does have an inspiring story!

Engagement Party Outfit

I ordered all of this last night (along with a few other "necessary" but not engagement party related items) from Nordstrom last night.  Free shipping and I can return anything in the store (which is walking distance from my house). I haven't tried on the dress yet, but I am really hoping it looks fantastic! If not, but to square one with the dress shopping!

In terms of shoes, I can't decide. I LOVE the zebra print but there are 2 downsides: 1. I want to incorporate Zebra into my wedding and wedding shoes would be a great way. It's not decided but it is a possibility so I don't want to possibly wear them twice. 2. They are $200! eeks. As far as the black shoes, well, the pro is that I own them (by far my favorite pair of shoes I have ever purchased. I still get compliments on those) but the down side is that everyone knows I own them!

So what's a girl to do?? I am going to keep looking for shoes, but what are the thoughts on the outfit???

Ruffled Fun

I love this dress! Not really a fan of halter, but I love the ruffled straps, dip in the back, and the v neck front! I think it's a very fun and flirty choice of a dress and just breathtaking on her!!!

Step Out with a Statement

Ahhhh- shoes. No more words need to be said to understand the joy that is finding the perfect and most fitting shoes for an occassion. The higher the statement, the better the look and shoes do this so simply and amazingly.

When I came across these my life changed in one of those ways where you know you have found something ideal, so how can anything else be good enough? You know you can't afford them, but you almost want to just go for it because they are so amazing. Thank you Miu Miu for inspiring me so, and showing me that there is a perfect shoe out there.

Oh Valentino. This is actually what I set out to find before running into Miu Miu. I wanted silver sequin pumps with a great structure and a little something special. These are definite statment shoes and are pretty darn incredible.

And in reality, these aren't bad choices either! These shoe clips by bpoetic are just amazing. I love the idea behind these because you can instantly change up any pair of shoes and add that extra umph. These are just darling and beyond in style at the moment! Gorgeous!

And those shoes that look like Valentinos? $100 retail! A little different, but let's be honest-they serve the purpose of statement shoes and will definitely wow any audience when they pop out from under that big dress!

So now over to you, what type of shoes are you looking for? Bold and colorful to match your wedding colors? Simple and subtle neutral colors? Or are you going down comfy street with some darling flats that you can dance the night away in???

Make Me Up

Make Up By: Melanie Feeny Photos By: Glen Durrell Photography

Love this make-up artist! She is such a sweetie and look at the professional job she does :)

Her and her husband are quite the couple- he is a videographer and she does make-up. They are quite the team! I love it :)

Gown Studio

if you could mention that everything is custom made and affordably priced, that would be great! We can combine elements or start from scratch! :)

Gown Studio is a bridal gown salon where you can get a custom-made dress of your dreams. They combine elements from previous dresses you have liked to create something that expresses your style perfectly.

There are soooo many things to spend your wedding money on. My personal two most inportant parts are the photography/videographer and the dress(oh also all the little details, so I guess I have 3 most importants!) and if you can find some cost cutting options that will allow you to have more breathing room for your other important aspects, I think its a smart idea. They are affordable and of quality, so really you are just getting a discounted dress to leave more room for photographers or decor!
