Fresh Color Palette

Source: SMP

I love this light color palette. Definitely all things I plan to incorporate into my wedding decor!

A white square wedding cake is just to die for.

Simple and white tablescapes with candles.

I love the AMAZING draped pearls on a simple BM dress. It would be fun if I could find antique pearls from antique stores, my grandmas jewelry collection, etc. to make it less expensive and a little more personal.

White pitchers with colored flowers is such a unique detail to add to the sign in and cake table, as well as other spots around the reception. I've been looking around for these hoping to scoop some up from garage sales, etc. After the wedding I am going to use the pitchers around the house as decor!

Keys! I love keys so much and I definitely want to figure out how to add them in the wedding decor. Problem is, I haven't been able to find more than one or two in my searches. I would love to use these for my table cards, but I need to find a lot to be able to do that!

PS: Does anyone know what that flower is called with the black inside???

Its All in the Small Details

Little decor ideas are what makes your even special and personal. These are some of my favorites that I really plan to incorporate!

Keys: love the key idea but they are awfully hard to find. The ones I have found are expensive too. The look of the keys and the bronze definitely go with the theme I have, and those as accents would be perfect!

Lantern Lights: holy moly those are so inexpensive and they just seem to transform any room! Look on lunarbizarre.com for some very cheap ones! They also have every color under the sun, so no matter what color palette you are trying to work with, you can always get ball lantern lights!

Tags: paper products, and especially tags, are my favorite thing ever. I absolutely love them as they give anything you put them on a really nice touch an for a small price!

Candle Lighting: Mason Jar candle holders?! Amazing. Those are so cute as they match the clear mason jars I will have, yet they hold my favorite kind of lighting :)

What unique details do you have going on for your wedding???

I love great wedding videos. I love tearing up at videos of people I don't even know. I love when you find a videographer who is so incredibly talented that they know how to catch the details and embrace the love in the wedding. I wanted to share this video for those who share the same loves that I do!

    Melissa’s Inspiration

I thought it would be fantastic to feature multiple brides on the blog and go through the whole planning process from a few different angles, with a few different colors schemes, and a few different venues! I figured the best place to start would be with friends of mine who are also planning their weddings! Why not right? The first of my introductions is Melissa. Her wedding is scheduled for June 2011, but like me-nothing has been picked out or booked just yet. Her style is chic, glam and garden- all of which mix incredibly well together. She is incorperating lots of whites and golds into the mix and wants details such as chandeliers and couches. All the plans so far sound quite amazing. I could be happier to be a part of her wedding or have her as a part of mine!

I'll continue to show more about her wedding in the future, so watch out for that!

What wedding style are you going with?? Is anyone planning a garden chic wedding and have ideas to offer? Let me know!
