A Vibrant French-Chateau-Inspired Wedding at Stonepine Estate

There are some weddings we look back on that instantly make you feel nostalgic—and this celebration at Stonepine Estate in Carmel Valley Village was one of them. Set against the rolling hills and timeless architecture of this historic venue, our couple embraced a design palette that felt fresh, joyful, and effortlessly elegant. Hannah & Scott brought so much joy to the whole planning process, and we wanted their day and vendor team to reflect that same energy back to them! Shot on film and digital from our favorite, Kelsea Holder Photo.

Inspired by a blend of preppy charm and French chateau romance, the mood board centered around pinks and greens with playful pops of peach. Together, these colors created a bright, vibrant atmosphere that perfectly reflected the couple’s fun-loving personalities. Hannah let us know early on she would like a bright pink for her bridal party, and the design cascaded from there.

From uplifting floral moments to fashion-forward details and personalized touches woven throughout the day, every element was designed to balance sophistication with whimsy. Stonepine Estate’s European-inspired grounds served as the perfect backdrop—lush gardens, sun-drenched pathways, and that undeniable Carmel Valley magic.

This wedding is a beautiful reminder that when couples lean into what feels like “them,” the celebration becomes not just beautiful—but truly unforgettable.

The property has so many amazing photo opportunities and different areas for groups to hang out on the wedding day.

The clients decided to have the ceremony at the pool terrace, and the dinner on the Loggia lawn.

striped menus to add a touch of whimsy and a cutting cake that got served with tiered dessert towers.

We love to work at Stonepine Estate, and have been visiting the property since I was young. It is a special place, that has a lot of quirky ins and outs we can guide our clients through. Reach out to start planning!

Classic Folktale Winery Wedding

Margeaux & Bowman are the cutest southern couple you have ever met! They met in college and had the most adorable love story. Pairing Margeaux, and her impeccable aesthetic, with the right vendor team was crucial in the planning process. We curated a day that felt very much them, and it paired perfectly with the French Chateau inspired Folktale Winery venue in Carmel Valley. The intimate Vineyard house is one of my favorite venues for smaller scale guest lists, seating 80 people perfectly on the patio.

The bride wore a tulle shrug for her ceremony to accompany her strapless gown.

Our seating chart fountain was the focal point of cocktail area. We collaborated with Max Gill to build this on site.

we planned to match our cake design to the couple's family heirlooms in sterling silver.

We love to work at Folktale Winery, with the diverse food and wine program, and the endless photo areas being a few of our favorite reasons. This venue also makes a perfect welcome party or rehearsal location.

Winery Wedding by Jonathan Ivy Photography

This is one of the best venues I have seen in a long time. I am talking totally-would-get-married-here great. Brick, winery and reclaimed wood mixed with those lace textures on her dress created a romantic and gorgeous day. And it all starts with this absolutely breathtaking shot of the bride by Jonathan Ivy Photography.

{Real Wedding} Ryan and Liz: Ceremony

This ceremony was so amazing. The lighting, the breeze, the trees and flowers; the setting was perfect. The ceremony was performed by a family friend and was completely tailored to fit their style and their vows.

{Real Wedding} Liz and Ryan: First Look

Liz and Ryan have become two of my favorite people. Their relationship is very solid and such an example of what a marriage really should be. I love them to death and their wedding day really was just as amazing as it all looks. The romantic setting of the venue was the perfect place for them to start crafting this gorgeous wedding day.

Of course they had Bronx and Sarge there (their doggies!)

I really have never seen such an amazing first look. The photographs really show the excitement, love and emotion of it all. Obviously I wasn't there for this part, but we were on the balcony of the venue watching and crying during the whole thing!

{Real Wedding} Ryan and Liz: Getting Ready

Over 3 months later, and I finally got this posted! No doubt you have seen this wedding by now. It was first featured on Style Me Pretty, The Knotty Bride, Hi-Fi Weddings, Love and Lavender, and I think there were a few more than that. Thank you all so much for featuring Ryan and Liz's wedding! It is so much fun to see it constantly popping up all over the place. After looking through over 900 photos of the day, I have chosen a batch that will give a bit more of an insight into their amazing day.

All photos were taking by the unbelievably incredible Jason + Anna Photography. And let me tell you, they really were that incredible. I swear Anna is the MacGyver of weddings. It all started when she helped one of the bridesmaids put on faux eyelashes, then by having a perfect color cardigan for a photo we were doing, and lastly, she was able to help us work out a last minute secret surprise for Liz and Ryan. On top of all that, they were so nice and amazing, and are now doing both mine and Melissa's wedding as well! So, we obviously highly recommend these amazing artists!

So here we go with this rustic and romantic Livermore winery wedding!

Getting ready is definitely one of my favorite photo opportunities as far as weddings are concerned. And this was definitely a fun time for all of us!

Happy Wedding Wednesday to everyone! This week is all about inspired style, (and let me just tell you, next week we have some great things to talk about!) We are going to continue on this Monday with the winery style. Taking the natural colors of the scene, winery weddings have a sense of romance and organic beauty.  PS: I want those burlap bottles SO bad!
