I love that cupcake bouquet! I have to figure out how to make one of those to give to at least the bridesmaids! How cute would that be?

Desserts on a Stick

Remember the cake pops I made for my engagement party? Well, turns out there is a whole slue of “pops” I didn’t even know about! Since everything is better in mini sizes, these little treats are perfect for bridal showers, engagement parties, or just a Saturday night :)

I happen to be a pie person, so I am super excited to make these pie pops. I think mini-macaroons would look just darling on sticks :) Definitely on my “to bake” list. Maybe I will expand out to all these items for my bridal shower, make it a continuation of the cake pops I did at the engagement party.

Parisian Love

When food becomes art and a source of pure inspiration, magnificence enters into the picture and the outcome is some of the most amazing photographs ever. The colors, the texture, and oh ya, the taste! This Parisian dessert has pretty much taken the world by storm as the newest “it” inspiration for all, and it is no different when it comes to weddings.

Amazing. I love ring pictures, but this one takes the cake as the best yet!

Cupcakes and Cupcake Stands

I was talking to @realgloss on twitter a bit about cupcake stands. Cupcakes are absolutely amazing, but cupcake stands on the other hand, more often than not look like ugly blocks sitting on top of eachother. I am definitely not a fan.

When I found this which I fell in love with. It has single-handedly changed my opinion of cupcake stands. Maybe, just maybe, there are some cute ones out there!

I haven’t been able to find any others that I have fallen in love with besides this. Any recommendations??

I love the idea of cupcakes instead of the wedding cake, but I haven’t been able to give up the idea of the “wedding cake” not being at the wedding. With a stand like this though, I could easily change my mind! Cupcakes are way more convenient, little clean-up, no cutting fees, probably a smidge cheaper, and a lot easier to save the left overs. I would love to hear from someone who has actually had cupcakes at their wedding. Did you love having cupcakes???

Square Obsessions

Square cakes and gorgeous details are two of my favorite things. The creator of these gorgeous cakes is Studio Cake of Menlo Park, CA. We both share an extreme love for square cakes, so I found it fitting to display a few of my favorites! The creativity of her work is amazing.

Cakes are such a statement and piece of art at your wedding. Not to mention incredibly yummy!
