Chalkboards Add Instant Vintage

I have a serious obsession with chalkboards. I plan to use these a lot in my wedding plans to add a touch of vintage to the space. There are so many different ways to display chalkboards, and the how-to is incredibly easy!

Recently, people have been using chalkboard tape to add a little something extra to containers. Then there are more traditional chalkboards which can be made using regular picture frames or old windows. Having the cute frame around the chalkboard makes it that much more presentable.

The how-to to turn anything into a chalkboard is pretty easy. Most hobby and craft stores have chalkboard spray which you simply spray over the area. It’s so easy to change anything into a chalkboard and add instant vintage!

Cute! I’m thinking of using chalkboards at the bar to let people know what’s available because we’re not going to have quite a full bar.

    Great article!

We have often thought that our ScanNap “web-enabled” cocktail napkin would make for the perfect e-Party Favor. You know, all of the seated wedding guests able to scan the cocktail napkin from their smartphones and view a tribute video of the newleyweds.

Best of all, once scanned, the video is now embedded into the guests mobile device where it can be kept and shared with friends and family in the users contact list that may not have been able to attend. It would definately create a buzz at the guest tables at the wedding reception. Take a look at the ScanNap:

Love all ideas with chalk broads. Have just been visiting family up north and came home with 50 slate roof tiles! Truly Vintage!!Planning on using them for one of my brides as place mats – not too dissimilar from one of the pics above. Always on the look out for new inspiration.
